Honda transmissions share oil with the engine.

I have an 04 Honda fourtrax 400, When the bike had 1500 KM on it i started having the same trouble seemed to get stuck in high gear, I took it to the dealer and a month later they replaced something in the clutch and wanted to charge me $700.00. I called Honda canada and they concluded up paying for it. How at 4000 KM it is starting to practise the same thing also when it goes below deg C Information technology volition take 10 to xx min before i can get it to go into gear. All this talk about sencors sounds like a place for me to start. Any other ideas?

If I remember right, a lot of people take complained about the 400 machines. I have had a 450 ES never a problem and now take a 500 RubiconCTE and no problems. A lot of miles on these babies.
Nosotros have two 2005 500 Rubicons (one is CTE and i is non) and both began exhibiting the flashing lawmaking thing a couple of weeks ago. Mine cleared upwardly on its own, but and so went back into limp way in the center of a ride yesterday. They're both on their way to a dealer. Clearly this is a meaning trouble with Hondas.
Very weird that two machines would take the same malfunction at the same time ... simply common element was extremely deep water that we probably shouldn't have gone through ... problems started soon afterwards that. The two Yamahas and other Honda (a Fourtrax) didn't take whatsoever problems with that water though.

Continue in mind the codes I listed above is for the ES type. Rubicons accept like, but unlike codes. I'll do a separate postal service with both set of codes and encounter if Ron will pasty it in the honda forum.
